A stirrup leather is a leather strap from which the stirrups are hung on the saddle. Both stirrup leathers are of equal length, and they must be strong enough to support the rider's weight. One end of each strap has a buckle, while the other end has holes to adjust the stirrup height. The standard length of a stirrup leather is 1.5 meters.
